Shortly after, sources told PEOPLE that Don Jr. — who had previously been engaged to former Fox News anchorKimberly Guilfoylesince 2020 — had been with Anderson for six months at that point.
By February 2025, a source told PEOPLE that Don Jr. and Anderson were "going strong" and could "go the distance." The president announced at the White House in December 2025 that his son and Anderson wereengaged.
The couple got quietly married on May 21, according to a Florida marriage application obtained by PEOPLE. They are expected to hold their wedding ceremony in the Bahamas over the Memorial Day weekend.

She is the daughter of two well-known philanthropists
Anderson was born in December 1986 to entrepreneur Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and philanthropist Inger Anderson. She grew up in Palm Beach, where she continues to reside today.
Her father became the youngest bank president in the U.S. when he started leading Worth Avenue National Bank at 26 years old. Together, he and Inger became well-known as a philanthropic couple, with Harry serving as a board member on the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and the national board of governors for the American Red Cross, per his obituary in thePalm Beach Daily News.

Following in their parents' footsteps, Anderson and her brothers founded The Paradise Fund, a nonprofit that helps local organizations with disaster relief. In October 2021, Anderson helmed an offshoot of the company with the Project Paradise Film Fund, which supports storytelling surrounding Florida's natural wildlife, with the proceeds going to conservation efforts.

A month later, sources told PEOPLE that Don Jr. and Guilfoyle were allegedly spending some time apart, with the eldest Trump son seemingly coming and going as he pleased.
Don Jr. and Anderson were again spotted together in December 2024, when the politician joined Anderson's birthday dinner at the popular downtown Palm Beach restaurant Buccan, per theDaily Mail. They were later photographed holding hands while walking down the beach.

At the time, a source told PEOPLE that Don Jr. "even took her on a trip to Alaska and introduced her around as his girlfriend when he was still very much with Kim."

Anderson joined Don Jr. at the Republican National Convention in July 2024, sitting next to three of his five children.

A Florida marriage application obtained by PEOPLE shows that the couple got quietly married on May 21.
They married at Anderson's twin sister's house in Palm Beach, with her brother-in-law officiating the ceremony, per the license.
They are set to have a second celebration over the weekend.
The president previously announced he would not be able to attend his son's wedding celebration over the weekend due to "circumstances pertaining to Government, andmy love for the United States of America."
